Clint johnson
Clint brings the administrative experience of his former career in the entertainment industry, experience and training in music and theater, and a 35 year tenure in SFGMC to the Board. In addition to his singing membership, Clint has served in both administrative and creative roles with SFGMC. Clint’s current administrative role is serving on the Leadership Team as the Membership Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Representative. His previous administrative duties have included assisting running the box office, assistance with office management, subgroup administrator, and Executive Director and Artistic Director search committees. His creative work has included serving as script writer, narrator and choreographer.
Clint's professional experience, exposure to both the administrative and creative aspects of chorus management combined with his 35 year tenure give him a unique perspective with a deep historical understanding of how the chorus fulfills its mission.
Why I joined the Board:
I’ve experienced the impact the chorus has on its members and I've witnessed its impact on our audiences. I want to do what I can to help SFGMC continue its service as a respected and effective advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, and as the resource for healing, community connection, and personal growth that it has proven itself to be.
