Outside Lands Was Unforgettable!

100 singers. One giant festival stage. Zero shortage of sparkle. 🌈

On Sunday, August 9, SFGMC kicked off Day Three of Outside Lands at Golden Gate Park’s Lands End Stage, bringing the big SFGMC energy to the day’s early festival crowd. The set included a high-energy rendition of “Pink Pony Club” and a surprise appearance by
Chappell Roan! (Okay, technically a fabulous lookalike—but we’re still counting it.)

And we weren’t the only ones taking notes: SFist called out SFGMC as one of Sunday’s opening acts, highlighting the chorus’s “Pink Pony Club” and other pop favorites in its Day Three festival recap

We even warmed up the Bay Area on KPIX with a preview of “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield, led by Associate Director of Music Education & Outreach Mitch Galli. You can watch the entire segment here.

We had a blast, and brought the memories home with us.
