Outside Voices
A storytelling workbook designed to help young people explore identity, find their voice, and turn personal experiences into meaningful creative expression.
Turn personal stories into powerful voices.
Outside Voices is an educational resource created as an extension of SFGMC’s RHYTHM program. It invites young people to explore their experiences, identities, relationships, and communities through the power of storytelling.
The workbook can be used alongside a RHYTHM school visit or as a standalone resource for students, educators, classrooms, and youth-serving organizations.
Participants are encouraged to transform their stories into creative expression through song, rap, spoken word, monologue, and other forms of performance art.
Your story matters.
Outside Voices provides prompts and activities that help participants reflect, write, create, and share in ways that feel authentic to them.
