This fall, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus returns for a spectacular 39th Season, celebrating our Community.
Your reality and fantasy will collide as SFGMC presents concerts packed with stunning music, fun surprises and amazing guests along the way. For the holidays, jump on a magic sleigh and celebrate at the Nourse Theater with “Babes in Joyland,” a show that embraces the delights of the season while delivering what you expect from SFGMC at the holidays – gorgeous music, jubilant production pieces and heartwarming moments.
For this fabulous holiday show, the Chorus will be joined by soprano Marnie Breckenridge at the Nourse and the incredible Melody Moore at the Castro "Home for the Holiday" shows.
Continue on to the spring, when the Chorus returns to the magnificent (and recently renovated) Herbst Theatre for “Paradise Found.” Sublime music. Dreamscapes. Ethereal beauty... and so much more! "Paradise Found" will dazzle you with new world-premiere commissions, including the massive "Paradiso" by SFGMC Composer-in-Residence Dr. James Eakin. Don't miss the Na Lei Hulu Dance Company, our featured guest artists for this show full of breathtaking new choral music.
And just when you thought it couldn't get better, don't miss our Pride Month 2017 extravaganza - "The Gay Kitchen Sink" at the Nourse Theater. This show brings together the most iconic music you know and love - from movies to musicals (including a new song by Avenue Q's Jeff Marx!), current pop hits and gems from the ages. SFGMC blows the roof off of this spectacular season with a fun-filled look at who we are and how we got here... with plenty of surprises you've come to know and love.
And if that wasn't enough, SFGMC is joined by Kinsey Sicks, America's favorite dragapella beautyshop quartet, as our special guests for the show. This is an over-the-top spectacle you just absolutely cannot miss.
