Molly Sender
PARTNERSHIPS & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Molly Sender (she/her) is the Partnerships & Development Manager for the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus and Chan National Queer Arts Center. Molly's experience spans artistic administration, production, development, and program management. She is passionate about building community through music, arts, and culture.
Before joining SFGMC, Molly was the Special Project Officer of Philanthropy for the San Francisco Symphony, where she supported international patron’s tours, campaign readiness studies, and individual & institutional giving. Prior to working in development, Molly was the Director of the Steans Music Institute at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago, a summer music conservatory for young professional musicians. She has proudly forged a career that is centered around making the work of the artist possible.
A Midwest native, Molly enjoys the beauty of the Bay Area's numerous parks and trails by hiking, climbing, and biking. When not outdoors, she can be found teaching yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, and traveling. She and her husband are proud parents to Winston, a black lab/shepherd mix with a knack for getting his way.
Molly holds a Bachelor’s of Musical Arts from DePauw University.
