Peter Hutchinson is Chief of Staff at New Deal Advisers, where he helps drive the firm’s strategic operations and coordinates complex advocacy efforts across a wide range of clients. He works closely with senior leadership to align policy strategy, research, and stakeholder engagement to deliver results.

A Bay Area native, Peter began his career in Washington, D.C., earning a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from American University. He gained experience in government relations and policy analysis through roles with the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, the U.S. Department of Education, and Thompson Coburn LLP. He lives in San Francisco with his partner and their amazing dog.
